R&B Singer D’Angelo, Who Helped Pioneer Neo-Soul, Dies at 51

Grammy-winning R&B and soul singer D’Angelo, who burst into the spotlight and helped pioneer the neo-soul genre, has died at 51 after a “prolonged and courageous battle with cancer,” his family said.
