The Remix brings hip hop energy to Prairie Theatre Exchange

This June, Prairie Theatre Exchange is flipping the script on what musical theatre can be. The Remix, a bold new collaboration between PTE and RISE Musical Theatre Company, hits the stage on Saturday, June 28, bringing together 10 choreographers, 10 vocalists and 70 dancers for a boundary-pushing celebration of hip hop, commercial dance, and theatrical storytelling. Audiences can catch the show at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Cherry Karpyshin Theatre, located inside PTE’s downtown Winnipeg venue. A creative collision of worlds, The Remix is the brainchild of RISE founder Joseph Sevillo (Ma-Buhay!) and Artistic Associate Dutchess Cayetano.
