Iconic stylist, promoter and choreographer for ‘60s R&B, soul, funk group dies at 71.
Michael Sumler of Kool & the Gang died Sunday in a Georgia car crash. He was 71. Sumler, known as “Chicago Mike,” was a promoter and choreographer for the iconic R&B, soul and funk group.
