For James Bunch, agriculture has always played an important role in his life. An alumnus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Bunch developed a way to urge young people to consider the field.

After a 35-year career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service, he produced a video series that aims to attract Black, Hispanic and other minority youth to agriculture. His idea developed into “Hip Hop Farmers.”
