Sankofa Band comes home to Chapel Hill after 20 years apart
Sankofa, a hip-hop band, reunited at UNC for Homecoming and performed at Cat’s Cradle on Friday. Founded in 1997, the group broke up in the early 2000s and played an important role in Chapel Hill’s music scene.
